Javier Miguel Mirande

 

Mr. Javier Mirande was born on June 7, 1968 in Rosario, Argentina.

 

He received his LL.B from the Universidad Nacional de Rosario in 1990. He also received an LL.M in Corporations Law from the Facultad de Ciencias Empresariales de la Universidad Austral in 1996, with honors. Mr. Mirande is currently preparing his thesis to obtain his Ph.D. in Laws from the Universidad Austral. He also attended many post-graduated courses in Commercial Law, Securities Law and Corporate Law.

 

Mr. Mirande is fluent in English and French.

 

He is a member of the Colegio de Abogados de Rosario as from 1991 and of the Colegio de Abogados de San Isidro, Province of Buenos Aires, as from 2004.

 

Mr. Mirande has lectured in Commercial Law and International Private Law. He is currently an Invited Professor at Universidad Austral for the LL.M. in Corporations Law. He has many publications in his practice areas.

 

Mr. Mirande practiced in Rosario for more than seven years. In 1997 he joined Quattrini, Laprida & Asociados, one of the leading law firms in Buenos Aires, mainly focused in Mergers & Acquisitions. He worked for more than ten years at Quattrini, Laprida & Asociados, participating and leading many national and international highly complex transactions. He was named Participating Asóciate in 2004. In 2007, Mr. Mirande returned to Rosario, his home town, to found Mirande, Marchese & Gaetán, Abogados. He organized a first class law firm, with high standards of quality, applying his experience of more than ten year at Quattrini, Laprida & Asociados.
