Sergio Mas Varela

Mr. Mas Varela received his LL.B. from the Facultad de Derecho, Universidad Nacional de Rosario in July 1992. He also received an LL.B. in Accountancy from the Facultad de Ciencias Económicas, Universidad Nacional de Rosario in 1994.

Mr. Mas Varela attended numerous post-graduated courses in Municipal Law, Public Policies, Tax Law and Tax Practice.

Mr. Mas Varela is Joint-Professor (appointed by public examination) of Finance Law in the Facultad de Derecho, Universidad Nacional de Rosario, as from March 2006. He has many publications and has lectured in his areas of practice.

Mr. Mas Varela has practiced in Rosario as from 1992. His areas of expertise: Tax Law and Public Law. He was Senior Associate attached to the Tax Department of M&M Bomchil, one of the leading law firms in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Mr. Mas Varela has occupied several positions in public offices: General Secretary of the Municipal Council of Rosario during 1997-1999 and 2002-2003. He was Auditor at Sindicatura General de la Nación, in Buenos Aires. He was Chief Auditor in Instituto Nacional Coordinador Unico de Ablación e Implante (INCUCAI), Buenos Aires, during 2001. He was Advisor of the Banco Interamericano de Desarrollo, for the Development and Reforms in Argentine Cities, during 2001.
